Long Valley Farm is a hidden gem at the end of a valley, circled by mountains. We grow organic veg, with 3 horses and beautiful clean water.
Come and relax, enjoy starry nights and walking in the mountains. Close to Robertson if you’re visiting for one of the many wine festivals.
As we have ducks and chickens roaming around the farm, no dogs please.
HIKING
Discover the trails on Long Valley Farm and in the nearby Dassies Hoek Nature Reserve. Enjoy pristine fynbos with proteas and many kinds of wildflowers.
WILD SWIMMING
Our river runs all year, with shallow splashing for smaller kids or deeper pools for swimming. Take a hike up to the waterfall and sunbathe on the rocks.
ORGANIC FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
We grow delicious organic fruit and vegetables. From beans to sweet potatoes, mielies and spinach, many kinds of herbs and trees laden with grapefruit and oranges. Overnight guests can pick what’s ripe for a home cooked meal on the farm – chat with us. Everything is seasonally adapted to our conditions. We make our own compost and mulch and water from our river using a solar water pump.
